1852, William III. 1 silbergros reddish-orange in block of 4, nice fresh and deep colour and good to large margins, neatly cancelled by circle of 9 bars of Luxemburg. A tiny thin between the two right-hand stamps, slightly affecting the top line of the lower right stamp only and the same stamp tiny marginal tear at right, just into the outer frameline but merely touching the design. 1852, William III. 10 centimes black, first printing, 2 horizontal pairs, the first one cut into the outer frameline at lower right, otherwise ample to large margins, the second one with well ballanced margins , tied by green 'pointe perforante' to entire letter to Sarreguemines in France with 2 adjacent strikes of red cds. "LUXEMBOURG 18 SEPT 52".
