1858, Second issue 80 parale bright red on blued paper, a magnificent horizontal pair with enormous margins all round, used on 1861 quadruple rate cover to Jassy, tied by fine strikes of framed FRANCO / TEKOUTCI handstamps (Kiriac fig. 320) in blue with corresponding "Tekutsch / Moldova" datestamp (12/8) alongside (Kiriac fig. 283). 1860 (DEC 27), Lettersheet franked with 1859, 10 cents green, vertical strip of 3, tied by New Orleans cds., addressed to "Trie" in France, misdirected via Prussian closed mail to Aachen (most likely the address read as "Trier" in Prussia). Then it was again sent to France on February 11 with credit '12 cents' and finally arrived on February 26. A most interesting letter which crossed the atlantic three times in 2 months.
