1840, Unissued "VR" 1 d. black, LG, clear at top, otherwise good to large margins, unused without gum, some minor thins mostly in the right margin, top left corner thinned (partly re-backed), the outer framelines of "V"-square are slightly rubbed, otherwise fine and fresh; a rare stamp, most likely originating from a postal notice.
