2,50 r. brown-purple used on registered envelope 8 c. from "MAURITIUS JY 21 95" to Switzerland, showing clear strike of rare "A.R.", red "REGISTERED MAURITIUS" and French paquebot mark "LA REUNION A MARSEILLE L.V.No.4", also on reverse large red seal cancel "GENERAL POST OFFICE MAURITIUS" and arrival mark; a rare stamp on cover and earliest recorded use of the "A.R." marking
