1857, 10 k. light brown/blue, fresh color and good margins, tied by boxed "ТАУРОГЕНЪ 7 МАЙ. 1858" and handstamp "Aron Ch.Segalls & Sohne" to folded letter sheet to St. Petersburg, fine and rare

10 c. black, yellow & orange-red, a single and vertical pair used on 1889 registered cover to Tiflis, Georgia tied by URMIA datestamps (21/9) in black. Manuscript docketing of registration in violet and reverse with Tiflis arrival cds. Extremely scarce.franking.

2 ch. green and 10 ch. orange used on 1894 cover to St. Petersburg, Russia tied by oval framed TEHERAN datestamp in black (5/9) with blue St. Petersburg arrival cds on reverse.

1911: 2 ch. red & brown and 6 ch. grey & carmine (4) all used on reverse of 1913 cover to the Poste Restante in Moscow tied by MECHEDISSER datestamps (May 8) in black. Addressee not found and cover marked RETOUR / NON RECLAMÉ in violet on both front and reverse.

Russian Consular Post Office in Tabriz 1916: Registered cover to Switzerland franked by Russia Arms 10 k. deep blue and 1913 Romanov 3 k. red and 7 k. brown all tied by bold strikes of Cyrillic TABRIZ ROSS. KONSULSTVO datestamps in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 303). Tabriz Cyrillic registration label on reverse with Petrograd transit and Bern arrival cds. Two stamps with minor faults, a very rare cover.

Russian Ship Mail 1904: Cover franked on reverse with Russian Arms 10 kop. blue, marginal example, tied on arrival by ENZELI Persian Post Office datestamp in black, with two further strikes of Teheran datestamps (12/5) below. Rare and most unusual cover. 

Russian Ship Mail 1910: Cover and original contents from Baku via Teheran to Ispahan, franked on reverse with Russia Arms 10 k. blue tied by oval framed ISPAHAN datestamp in black (of arrival) with two strikes of Teheran cds alongside (Dec 31). A fine and most unusual cover.
