1856, 5 r. brown, 1858, 25 r. rose (3) and 1866, 80 r. orange and 100 r. violet, all with wide to very wide margins and neatly cancelled, exceptional copies
1866, 25 r. rose, vertical block of six with good margins, every stamp clearly cancelled "174" VEIROS, small scissor-cut between stamps at right, otherwise very fine
100 r. lilac, vertical strip of four with large margins and 15 mm sheet margin at right, each stamp neatly cancelled "223" FELGUEIRAS; a beautiful strip in extremely fine quality, signed Giulio Bolaffi and A. D.
1870/76, Luis 5 r. black, 10 r. yellow and 80 r. orange, tied by barred oval "219" to letter sheet with adjacent light cds. of Villa Nova de Portimao to Christiania, Norway with Lissabon transit mark on reverse; the 5 r. affixed slightly damaged and all three stamps somewhat squeezed due to the cancellation, still an attractive and rare cover to Scandinavia

"FUNCHAL 21/6 1869" to letter sheet via England to Port Medway, Nova Scotia, Canada; 120 r. slight filing crease and tiny foxing around the stamps, still attractive and scarce cover, certificate BPA (2008)
