1835, decorative handwritten treaty from Derby with blue revenue stamp 1 £ 15 Sh. cancelled with seal "DERBY 27.10.34", fold, otherwise fine

1840, 1 d. black, plate 6, vertical marginal pair FA/GA with large margins all around, at left full sheet margin with inscription "..e back be careful not to remove the", and part of marginal watermark "= POST" beautiful deep fresh colour, unused with fresh original gum, the bottom stamp unmounted mint; some minor gum bends; a very fine and extremely rare pair

1841/51, 2 d. blue, 5 single copies, 3 with just clear to wide margins, 2 partly cut-into, tied by black MC to tenfold entire letter (mentioning enclosures) to Oswestry, showing on reverse dateless red "PORT-MADOC"; filing crease well off the stamps; a scarce franking
1856/58, 1 d. rose-red, 4 copies, used and parly tied by French dotted numeral "1495" of Le Havre to almost complete entire letter (one side flap missing) with frontside red "ANGL. B. M. LE HAVRE 21 JUIL. 60", to Le Havre; one stamp perforation slightly affected, where affixed over the edge of the cover, still fine and attractive
