Provisional Government 1859, 5 c. green, 20 c. violet-blue and 40 c. red-brown, all with four margins all round, used on 1859 registered cover from Modena to Sassuolo tied by nine bar obliterators in black. Modena despatch cds (Nov 21) at base with framed RACCOMANDATA in black at right. One side flap missing but a magnificent three colour franking in delightful condition. Signed G. Bolaffi, A.
