Lot 1807

5 c. red-brown, two horizontal strips of four and horizontal strip of three (formerly an irregular block of eleven stamps, 2 stamps with transfer varieties CHILF resp. squeezed CHILE), shaved to huge margins, the right strip of four just touched at right, otherwise enormous margins with parts of 11 neighbours stamps, tied to lettersheet (not quite complete on reverse)  from “SANTIAGO 10 AGTO 54” to Valparaiso. One stamp unfortunately removed / lost, however a remarkable 3 ounce rate cover with rare multiples. (Scott 7a)
