"BASCHARAGE 13 Mai 1855" to Guirches, Belgium and redirected to Bruxelles, the pair shows 2 scissor cuts and small tear, all not affecting the design. The cancellation of Bascharage is very rare on entire, this is the only known cover bearing a pair of 10 c., no covers with the 1 sgr. exist, signed F.S.P.L. and Goebel, certificate Böttger BPP (Prifix 1f)

10 c. grey, 2 vertical pairs, both with good to mostly large margins, 2 stamps showing "Petite retouche" no. 10 and 8, one stamp with "Grande retouche" no. 4, tied by clear strikes of Grevenmacher circle cancel to small lettersheet with adjacent clear cds. "GREVENMACHER 22 AVRIL 59" to Metz with transit and arrival marks; a very rare and most remarkabel letter with 3 retouched stamps in very fine quality, signed Miro and Goebel with certificate (2006)
10 c. grey, vertical strip of 4 (bottom stamp with large retouch no. 8), vertical strip of 3 and single stamp, tied by several strikes of clear ring cancel to entire double rate letter with adjacent clear cds. "GREVENMACHER 31 MARS 59" to Metz; the single stamp slightly touched, otherwise clear to very wide margins, the top stamp of the strip of 3 with small scissors' cut at left and same strip with faint horizontal fold between the 2 bottom stamps, the single stamp and the bottom stamp of strip of 3 with faint marks of blue crayon; overall quite nice and fresh condition, the cover in original state of preservation; one of the most spectacular entires of the 1st issue; signed Goebel and certificate Demuth BPP (1995)
10 c. black, 2 horizontal strips of 4, one clear in one place, otherwise both with good to wide margins, tied by circle of 9 bars to letter (partly folded up, top and bottom flaps missing) from "LUXEMBOURG 17 DEC. 55" to London with transit and arrival marks on front and reverse; 2 stamps of the franking with vertical crease, where affixed around the edge of the cover; a remarkable and rare double rate franking to England; certificates Goebel (2006) and Scheller (2009)
