Russia Civil War: 1920 (September) ordinary letter from MELITOPOL 5 9 20 to Denmark with Copenhagen roller cancel receiver on reverse. Franked on reverseWrangel issue 5 rublei on 5 kop perf, routed to Constantinople where the rare cachet of the Russian Post was applied. In 1920 the Russian Post (not to be confused with the Refugee Post) handled incoming mail from White Russia and the cachet enabled onward transmission without the addition of Turkish adhesives or payment of Postage Due. Very rare.
