Cover to Russia franked on reverse with pair of 20pa of 1890 UPU Empire stamps and tied by DAPHNI * ECHELLE (unrecorded by A&P) datestamp and on arrival franked with Zemstvo 5k Bogorodsk stamp and tied by arrival cds. One of the earliest usage of 1890 UPU Empire stamps if not the earliest. Believed to be unique. Ex.Fabergé & Ferrari
KALAMBAKA: 1897, cover to Istanbul used during Greco-Turkish war franked with 1pi of 1892 coat of arms stamp and cancelled by KALABAK manuscript. Believed to be the only known cover. Certificate Turkish & Ottoman Philatelic Society
KATAFIGHE: "KATAFI KARYESI POSTA SUBESI 1313" (A&P type 1, RRR), clear strike in violet on horizontal pair 1901 20 pa. rose to reverse to envelope with handwritten endorsement "Voie de Salonique" to Maresti, Romania with arrival mark, fine, very rare, only two covers recorded with complete strike of this cancellation
