1828, folded lettesheet sent from Hobart Town to the secretary of the Grand Lodge of Mansons in Dublin, manuscript rate 1/3d. and circular "PAID" appluied in London, reverse with irish diamon shaped red postmark, some minor imperfections, a rare early letter from Van Diemen Island which, at the time, had a very low population
1853, Victoria 4d. red-orange horizontal pair with good margins on three sides, close at left, used, fine (SG. 950£)

1854, Victoria 1s. blue, good margins on three sides just touched at bottom, tied by numeral "1" and red "LONDON PAID" to envelope to London, reverse with clear strike of red "SHIP LETTER MELBOURNE", some slight imperfections, otherwise fine
1867/70, 6 d. blue and 1873/87, 1 d. green and 8 d. red-brown on pink, tied to mourning envelope via England to Copenhagen, Denmark with transit and arrival marks; 6 d. light corner crease, otherwise very fine
